This is the most compact and economical travel tea set we have come across on the market here in Taiwan. The very user-friendly and attractive gaiwan style teapot has a 140ml capacity, which offers the option of brewing for one, two or three people.

The inset lid and external spout makes it much more user-friendly than a classic gaiwan, but just as easy to clean. And the upper lip surrounding the lid allows for an easy grip that is cooler to the touch. The teapot and cups are made from a nice, dense ceramic that offers a quality feel. The inside of the teapot has the same glaze as the outside, but the inside of the upper lip is unglazed, as is the underside of the lid. This allows for a more secure, non-slip fit of the lid on the teapot. And it also has a nice aesthetic feel to the unglazed clay in placing the lid on the teapot. Overall it's a very smart design!

There is one larger and two smaller cups, offering convenient flexibility for 1 to 3 people. The two smaller cups fit snugly inside the teapot, lined with the accessory cloth. The cloth then lines the lid, as well as the larger cup that fits over the lid to form a capsule shape. This then fits perfectly into the custom made, durable travel case that zips up in one easy swipe, and is ready to be tossed into your daypack or luggage!

i like mine but

the bigger tea cup chipped two days after, and the tea pot chipped also, still very convenient

Sophisticated

Every trip feel so sophisticated to me know. No more being stuck drinking tea at the hotel out of paper cup. How did I ever lived without it before!?

Very cool

Love this, and actually use it in my office. Can't wait to go hiking and have some tea in nature.

It is 150 ml and very convenient. Love the color and design. The top part gets a little hot but just takes a little practice. I like it better than the ones with little nobs.

Brewed a mean cup of tea as well.

Car Update ~

My stolen car was recovered after a high speed car chase with tire spikes! In it was this tea pot as well as the Ceylon pot (the cups were smashed), thrown about the car unbroken! Safe to say the case works and this teapot can hold up in a backpack and luggage. ~
