Eco-Cha Teas

This tea is amazing, probably my favorite from Eco-Cha's lineup. It's super flavorful and certainly unique in its own right. Definitely a must try!

Ive got a pretty wide selection, and still drink other teas, but when I want something guaranteed to make me happy, this is what I reach for. (Can’t have your favorite all the time or it loses its specialness.) The first time I sipped it I nearly cried, which yes, is very dramatic, but that’s how strongly I feel about this tea. Not everyone I’ve shared it with feels like I do about it, so don’t let me oversell it. You may not feel like you want to marry the tea, love at first sip. But it is a very good tea.

I love this tea so much I just picked up two more boxes. I get the marscapone note, but I am also picking up a lonely cinnamon note in both the nose and tongue. Nice and sweet on the side of the tongue and in the finish. A very unique black tea. I brewed it in porcelain to keep it neutral.

I’ve tried several batches of the Alishan High Mountain Oolong Tea over time, and it’s never been a disappointment. Every time, it’s well-balanced, fresh, and full of aroma. It’s become my daily go-to tea — easy to enjoy and always satisfying. For me, it’s one of the most reliable Oolongs in Eco-Cha’s lineup.

This is my first tasting of Bi Lo Chun. Though I do love fennel I didn’t notice any fennel notes. But I also probably miss most such notes. Perhaps they are beyond me or perhaps I need more time. What I did notice and love is the fresh delicate taste. Maybe the delicacy is reinforced by the softness of the leaves after brewing? In any case I really am quite happy with this tea and will order again!

I have never been able to manage a Giawan, but this has made it possible. Sometimes, I just want to have a quick cup of gongfu tea without using a special teapot, and I don't have to worry when using ceramic. Great idea!

First time I brewed it, I had to check the package, because I thought it was a Lishan Gao Shan Cha. The taste is as described: fresh, floral and sweet. You can really taste the high elevation.
Beautiful leaves with a intense green color.

When I opened the bag I was greeted by a strong breeze of passion fruit and mango. The leafs are small, hairy and have a beautiful green color. The Bi Luo Chun tastes really fresh, with notes of lime zest and green vegetables. Good price for such a high quality. The best Bi Luo Chun I had so far.

I read this tea is consumed by folks as their go-to everyday tea. I wondered what it would be like. Surprise, it has plenty of tasty flavor, not too mild and not overpowering. It is now my everyday go-to tea.

I’m mostly a Dong Ding Oolong girl but enjoy this green tea both hot and cold - especially summers in Southern California.

This tea type has a light, milky flavor that combines the best of both green and (more conventional) oolong teas. A great tea to try and buy.

This and the Li Shan are my go-to teas in the morning, something I can count on to start the day right. I love those high mountains!

After trying the Alishan High Mountain Jin Xuan version I had expectations to some degree but it blew them all out of the water. As soon as I opened the bag a stong green aroma hits your senses in the most wonderful way, I kept smelling the dry tea for while before finally settling on actually brewing it.

I went with the gonfu style brewing, 4 grams tea, 60 mL water, 100 C, 30 sec steep with no rinse.
Not rinsing this tea is right way to go cause that first steep was already aromatic and full of flavor. This is like Jin Xuan on steroids, jasmine and the vegatal note are pronounced strongly.
From 2nd to 5th steep flavor is constantly strong with a numbing jasmine flavor left on the palate, and I didn't even prolonged the steeping time, went with 30 seconds for the first 4 steeps and 45 seconds for the 5th. Compared to Jin Xuan one this had less dryness.
I tried doubling the water for the 6th steep just to see how it holds and it was still wonderful, flavors were a bit more gentle maybe, but I was still able to get 2 more steeps out of it.
PIus, I could probably throw it into hot water and let it sit overnight to squeeze the last good bits if I wanted.
I'm still not over how great this is, albeit I have little experience to compare this to yet this tea packs so much punch with so little that I'm sure adding this to your stash will make you happy.

This tea is the first unroasted oolong I've tried and besides the descriptions I had no idea of what to expect. I tired going with the gongfu style brewing albeit with less tea, 3 gr to 45 mL water, 100 C, 45 sec, no rinse.
First steep as expected was weak as I skipped rinsing, but still had floral notes coming through. In the second steep I could start to taste a vegetal profile with jasmine coming through at the end.
3rd and 4th steep were where this truly shines as jasmine comes forward and balancing the vegetal taste.
I could push the 5th steep with a nice aroma but by the 6th steep not much is left.
One thing to note is there is this dryness that lingers after which is why I'll start with 30 sec for my next brew.
Also there was not much of a creamy profile but higher dosage might bring those milky notes better forward.
Overall a wonderful tea for everyday sessions with hitting the best spot price vs performance.
This tea is an instant repurchase item that's for sure.
