Eco-Cha Teas

A flavor adventure in four parts:
1. Mineral: clean, almost rocky, mountain-stream quality.
2. Warm roast: subtle toast, not smoke.
3. Honey: soft sweetness emerging in the finish.
4. Lingering aftertaste (hui gan 回甘) : that returning sweetness after you swallow.

Wow. Each steeping is better than the last. I adore this tea.

After being unimpressed with other Dong Dings I decided to try this. It’s amazing. Very smooth, enjoyable, and a deep honey-caramel flavor.

From start to finish this high mountain oolong tea was exceptional! The beauty of the tea itself, its flavours and aromas, and lingering sensations in my body will make this a staple in my tea cupboard! I highly recommend this tea.

A tea with a wonderful combination of caramel, nutty and toasty in both its aroma and taste profiles. The tea is warming and the energizing quality builds up gradually through the sips. A good roasted tea, overall.

They look so beautiful on my tea shelf, very easy to grab and go, and they make a wonderful little gift.

The sampler has a decent variety of teas, which is great if you don't know what to order. I bought this sampler at the recommendation of a friend to try Dong Ding and Alishan oolong. I really enjoy several of the teas but gravitate more toward roasted Tsui Yu. I like the floral notes but prefer a deeper flavor. You'll find something you like in this sampler.

This is one of the best Tea I had so far, it's have a great and fresh floral taste.

I used to be a heavy coffee drinker, but now I'm more inclined to drinking this tea. I love the soft, herbal notes so much!

Love this bottle so much that I gave them to two friends and they love it too. A great travel accessory and a constant companion in my car. Currently enjoying it with gardenia oolong. Yum!

A really solid roasted oolong with a strong, but not unpleasant roast level. It may not be as complex as some of the higher priced roasted oolongs on this site, but for this price point, an excellent tea for people who want a roasted daily drinker.

A very nice sampler to get an overview - for a fair price imo. I actually bought this to taste some Oolongs but the Bi Luo Chun was a very positive surprise for me - almost reminded me a bit of artichoke in the first two brewings. And even though I typically prefer darker oolong with highe oxidation I was very happy with the more vegetal ones.
The only thing that seems a bit odd to me is the size of the caddy. It felt a bit cumbersome to open a bag, brew a cup of Oolong and then put the remaining ~14g in the caddy for 2-3 more sessions.. idk, I would prefer something larger so if I buy larger amounts (which I do plan on doing since they were delicious) I can store them well. I would also prefer a 2 lid system since the threaded parts seem to have some friction and probably loose their sealing mechanism over time. But the look of the caddy is very nice.

I loved all the teas in this sampler. And the tea caddy is very well made.
